Woodstock’s is always looking

Throughout the year Woodstock’s sponsors numerous employee
events including beach parties, Halloween parties, team sports,
bowling parties, etc. Every in-store employee is entitled
to a “house pie” after working a shift, as well
as unlimited sodas during their shift. In
addition, Woodstock’s offers an employee discount of
50 percent off for all merchandise, food and beverages purchased
in the store.
Woodstock’s has a long-standing policy of promoting
from within. Many of our best employees have been with the
company for years. In fact, our Owner and President, Jeff
Ambrose, began with Woodstock’s as a delivery driver
in Corvallis. After serving in virtually every job in the
company, he was eventually promoted to President, and in 2001,
he bought the company!
We have many opportunities for employees who would like to
work their way up, and with some initiative and hard work,
you can be promoted quickly. We offer health and dental benefits
to all employees who work 35 hours or more each week. Life
and disability insurance is paid for all General Managers
and Administrative staff. Paid time off is available for all
Assistant General Managers, General Managers and Administrative
staff. The formula is based on position and number of years
with the company. Woodstock’s managers are also eligible
for bonuses based on achieving monthly performance goals for
their store. Woodstock’s sponsors bi-monthly management
workshops for all General Managers, as well as an annual retreat
at Lake Tahoe for all General Managers and Assistant General
Managers, along with the administrative staff. We encourage
and pay for further education and training that will help
our managers advance in their careers.
